2007 release of a 4CD box set (LP size) devoted to the woman who married both Buck Owens and Merle Haggard (and divorced both as well) but had forged a singing career early on as Buck was coming up the Country circuit. Years after their marriage ended, she met Fuzzy Owen and cut some sides with him, including the duet "Just Between The Two Of Us". Later in the 60's when she met Haggard, Owen was both managing and mentoring him and suggested they both recut the song. The recording shot up the Country charts and Owen would also later marry Haggard. She would continue to record for Capitol and those tapes are anthologized on this set. Includes a 76 page hardcover book.
