Consumers Beware!
Hey kids! This is along with Roger Corman's The Intruder, the best film on racism ever made. The one star review refers to the edition Maple Pictures released recently. Of the two copies of this I bought (one in Toronto, one in Calgary) both are marred by a hazy horizontal band running throughout the entire film (just below the top letterbox bar). Coincidence? Maple pictures has thus far refused to respond to my e-mails. Videophiles unite to stamp out this corporate arrogance by boycotting companies like this. Anyway, great film. Still have my old Lion's Gate DVD until the problem is remedied. Russell Crowe's best film.
