Another Great Season! A Great Buy! Now, How About A Reunion Movie??! Pretty Please!5
"Starsky and Hutch The Complete Third Season" is a very enjoyable ride! The chemistry between Paul Michael Glaser (Starsky) and David Soul (Hutch) both terrific actors are what makes this whole series work. On the show they just happened to be cops that were partners who were/are best friends (real life, too) and this brings a realness to their team work. In my opinion there is only a 'handful' of shows out there with actors, past and present, that have honest believability with their chemistry and these two have "it".

This season offers us some of our favorite episodes: which is the 2 part "The Plague". This was about Hutch infected with a deadly virus and Starsky's search for the one person who has built up an immunity which holds the key to saving Hutch. The acting was great and they did a good job with the storyline. "A Body Worth Guarding" was funny and Starsky did have to do all the hard work on this episode.*g* Love the scene when Starsky was knocking on the hotel room door where Hutch was guarding this Russian lady ballerina and Hutch was hurriedly getting dressed before letting his partner in the room. Trust me its funny! Also, "The Trap" was very good and these two literally relied on each other to survive.

This season both PMG and David Soul continued directing episodes (they started directing in season two) which were "ManChild On The Streets", "Class In Crime" and the season finale "Deck Watch".

In regards to the DVD packaging its great, the picture quality is clear for this 23 episode digitally mastered set. I like the main menu screen that is on seasons one to three DVDs. We did purchase all of the series from seasons one to four. I do want the complete series boxed set, but because it has yet to be offered here, I bought them individually.

**We still want the 'reunion' movie with "this duo" as it would be a fitting tribute to the best, only, and original version of "S&H". They're still young enough to do a movie and for all of us fans worldwide, whether it would be on the big screen or the small screen, it would be terrific! We would like to know how the characters are and what became of them as the duo.** C'mon Warner Bros! They were a huge hit and even other shows out there with less popularity do a reunion show or at the very least they have the originals come back for a retrospective. Please give the fans what we want! 'Nuff said.

This is a 5 star purchase with the incredible duo, The Ford Gran Torino "aka Striped Tomato", and the acting which made the show for us. We're glad we bought the whole series, it's worth it! Trust me!

ZEBRA THREE ! ZEBRA THREE ! ZEBRA THREE !4
The quality of both picture and sound in my opinion is excellent. These episodes look better than I remember seeing on television in the 1970's. It's too bad that the sound for this show wasn't remastered in Dolby Digital 5.1. There was a noticeable difference between season three and the first two seasons. Season three lacks some of the shows earlier grit that made it so great, but there are still some very good episodes for fans to watch and enjoy. Season three gave way to some major changes on the show. The theme music from season two was changed and the violence was definitely toned down and the episodes were geared more towards the relevant social issues of the 70's rather than mindless violence.

One thing that didn't change in season three was the interaction between Starsky and Hutch; they always covered each others back no matter what. Despite the material changes made to the show, season three of "Starsky and Hutch" definitely doesn't disappoint and I am really glad I bought this set. Now I can watch "Starsky & Hutch" anytime I want because reality TV crap has taken over and television has gone down the toilet.

My favorite cop duo of all time is back for more action in season three. Thanks to Columbia Tristar/ Sony Pictures for giving us fans the entire third season of "Starsky and Hutch" on DVD. This incredible five single sided disc set contains all 23 pulse pounding, tire squealing action packed episodes in one amazing set. The set is well done but once again no bonus extras were included. I just picked up season four and I hope it's filled with extra bonus features like cast interviews, commentaries, bloopers, anything extra for the final season would be nice.

New Generations see one of the greatest buddy cop tv series5
Starsky & Hutch the Epitome of a buddy-cop tv show - one of the greatest shows ever to hit the airwaves, is now on it's third season. Paul Michael Glaser, David Soul, Antonio Fargas and Bernie Hamilton were such a great team that to have the series brought back after 30 years - it makes it for a whole new generation of people to enjoy.

I'm really glad that Columbia/Tri-Star decided to release this series as it is a great collection. The two stars directed some episodes and the exotic locations, thrilling car chases and gunfights of cop vs robbers, etc. is awesome.
