Six CD live compilation detailing the rise of punk from the stage of London's most famous punk venue. Foreword by Don Letts, then resident DJ at the Roxy. Great value for the money with 70 tracks in all. The box works like this - disc one is a 12-track collection featuring Slaughter and the Dogs, Freedom, Wire, The Adverts, Johnny Moped, Eater, X-Ray Spex, and the Buzzcocks. The next four discs are devoted to one band each - Buzzcocks, The Adverts, X-Ray Spex & UK Subs. The sixth and final disc is a collection entitled Farewell To The Roxy and features 14 tracks from Blitz, Acme Sewage Co., UK Subs, The Jets, Open Sore, and more. Castle. 2005.
