Synopsis: Denis Leary dodges punches and has no "ref" to save him at COMEDY CENTRAL's no-hold-barred insult fest. Leary gets pummeled by his celebrity peers during "COMEDY CENTRAL Roast of Denis Leary," featuring host Jeff Garlin. The Roast, which bids adieu to the formal black tie, dais and orchestra, features Roasters Mario Cantone, Lenny Clarke, Dane Cook, Nick DiPaolo, Doctor Dre & Ed Lover, Adam Ferrara, Gilbert Gottfried, Colin Quinn and host Jeff Garlin as they take on Leary in an edited version of the celebrity-studded party - taped on Thursday, June 19 at The Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. In addition to the Roasters that ripped Leary that evening, video tributes from friends of Leary's who couldn't make the big night include Michael J. Fox, Peter Gallagher, Joe Mantegna, Conan O'Brien, Rene Russo, Jon Stewart and Christopher Walken. Actress Gina Gershon performs a rousing song and dance number while comedian Jim Breuer serenades Leary with a biting musical tribute. Throughout the evening guests are treated to the musical talents of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.
