THE STRIPED TOMATO RETURNS!!
Owen and Ben who? So they finally made a Starsky & Hutch movie for the big screen, big deal! I've personally never seen the big screen movie and don't plan to any time soon. As far as I'm concerned Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul are and will always be the one and only Starsky & Hutch now and forever. 1970's television is where it's at and make no mistake, season two with its high octane pulse pounding action definitely doesn't disappoint.
There are 25 more episodes digitally remastered in this 5 disc set and the picture and sound are great. Just like season one the box cover art and disc artwork are well done and this set from Columbia Tri-Star looks fantastic. The 25 episodes are spread out over 5 single sided discs and presented in their 1.33:1 full screen aspect ratio.
All of the 25 season two episodes are great, but several really stand out in my opinion. The "Las Vegas Strangler" with Lynda Carter "The Vampire" with John Saxon and "Vendetta" with Gary Sandy. This show was so popular during its run that the who's who of Hollywood wanted guest starring roles. There really isn't much in the way of bonus features other than some original TV promo spots narrated by Paul Michael Glaser and some bonus previews. A reunion featurette of the cast or a where are they now featurette would have been a nice extra. TV's best cop duo is back tougher than ever, so accept no substitute and pick up your copy of "Starsky & Hutch season two today!

Starksy & Hutch Episodes - A MUST HAVE!
It is about time these episodes were released! My taped copies from TV are just about worn out! When Columbia House started to release their VHS tapes, I got all I could, but then they just abruptly stopped (hope they start up again!). I'm thrilled beyond words that the 2nd season is being released on DVD! I pounced on the 1st season DVD collection. KEEP THEM COMING! The best 70's cop show to ever hit the air waves!! A definite must for anyone who grew up during that decade! Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul are the best as Starsky & Hutch!
S&H a Great Show and also"CHiPs"
Dear Ritchard J. Sieruga, if you do not like "CHiPs" it does not mean that it is bad. I like Starsky & Hutch but I also love "CHiPs" and I think it is one of the best Police Shows of the 70's and 80's and I think many people out there think the same way.
Please release all seasons of "CHiPs" as soon as possible plus the rest of the seasons of Starsky & Hutch.
Thanks.
