Undiscovered gem5
Nothing new, typical melodic death/black metal in the path of Dark Tranquillity and early In Flames. What differs these guys from 1000s of other melodic d/b bands is the good production and even better songwriting. I just listened to one song and bought the cd immediately.

Early contender for album of the year4
Well....I just happened to catch this bands song 'The Seventh Sunray Enlights My Pathway' on a music channel, and was intrigued from the get-go. A few more listens, and I was compelled to buy the cd. Im certainly glad I did. Im impressed that, although every song is generally fast, every song also coalesces to making its point, and, although filled with sonic fury and blastbeats, also carries melodies as well. The playing is intricate, the production is great, and the songwriting is excellent. Something about them reminds me of older Dark Tranquillity, and I highly recommend this album. This was an unlooked-for gem for me, and you might find it as a pleasant surprise as well.
