Mind Blowing
Well I'll start off by writing that Good Charlotte are the best band there ever was and ever will be. There music is so awesome that there are no words to describe it really. For all the Good Charlotte haters well they should grow up and just not listen to them if they don't like them and definitely not say stupid and mean things about the guys of Good Charlotte. As far as anyone who says that they don't have any talent that is just stupid because one listen to any of their songs is plain to see that these guys are super talented. Well enough about that. This CD is so good and there are no songs on it that wouldn't get a 11\10 in my mind. As far as skipping any songs on the CD I never do because every song is so beautifully written. There songs can just help anyone out whether you are in a bad mood and wanna cry or in a good mood and wanna rock out. Every song on this CD is about everyday things that happen to everyday people and they can really help you get through tough times.
I'll end this off by saying to all of the GC haters that they are not sellouts. Just because they appear on tiger beat magazine covers who really cares. Maybe the bands that you would like to see on the cover of Tiger Beat are just not good enough to appear on it or maybe no one cares about that band.
if i could give it a zero, i would.
okay, i know you either hate this cd, or love it, but im going to judge it with all the bands faults aside (like them not being punk, and being sellouts). first, someone said this is emo, which it is deffintly not. just because you sing about girls or relationships, does not make you emo. think of what you are saying. bands like atreyu, who are great hardcore, sing about being cry babies, and girls too (A Song For The Optimist).
Now, to the music. There is some creative parts in this cd, but they are totally shaded out by the typical, MTV-trash-non-creativeness pop punk. it is quickly repetive, with similar riffs and drumming. dont even get me started on the lyrics...geez my 13 year old cousin can write more intelligent lyrics than this. one reviewer said "the songs are about benji and joels lives"....wow...like nobodys EVER sung about lifes problems, joys, ups, downs, or life in general, before. Basicly, and in short, this is yet another display of the music scenes mediocrecy today. okay, guess i couldnt review this cd without bashing on this band and thier suckiness. bands that actually have talent shoould be dominating the airwaves, not your so called "metal"-linkin park, trapt....those bands suck. listen to killswitch, as i lay dying, children of bodom, older in flames,....yea, bands with talent. bottom line - if you like pop punk, or punk in general (which this cd is not), listen to MXPX, millencolin, goldfinger, NOFX, bad religion, all those r ten times better than GC will ever be.
What Has The World Come To?
this "band" is totally destroying the music industry...this whole NYSNC with guitar craze has gotten way outta hand...for those who consider this crap punk, answer me this....what kind of punk band is every issue of Tiger Beat, and Teen magazine??? grow up and listen to something worth listening to...like CKY
