KARATE KRAZY!
This is one of the best movies ever. Starring Bruce Lee and Fred Williamson. It was filmed at Madison Square Garden in 1979 and released in 1980 (I think). Some of the facts in the Bruce Lee story are very inaccurate but the outline is there. Bruce Lee's skill is EXTRAORDINARY. He is without doubt the greatest fighter who ever lived. Nobody can touch him. Fred Williamson is smooth and slick as usual. Watch the scene where he picks up htat little guy at the cab stop. I also reccomend ENTER THE DRAGON.
One of the funniest movies ever created
What can I say? This movie is an abomination, but a truly enjoyable one. The "movie" actually features two other submovies, one of Bruce Lee in his "childhood" (one of his early movies with new dialogue trying to convince us it's about his life). During this extended flashback scene, he and his family members remenisce about his great-grandfather, the chinese king of the samurai (yes, you read that correctly), and we are confronted with yet another movie-in-a-movie. This time from some cheesy asian hack-fest in which the hero (supposedly Bruce's samurai great-grandfather) is covered in blood and kills hundreds upon hundreds of endless enemies. We end up seeing about 4 or 5 of these great-grandfather scenes randomly interspersed between scenes of Bruce's "childhood". After all this, we finally get back to the idiotic main plotline where there is a boxing match to determine Bruce Lee's "successor".
It will supply hours of comic relief, and is yet another shining example of human failure in film-making.
Buy this movie only to see a Legend be disgraced.
This movie has nothing to do with Bruce lee.. This movie often confuses karate with gung fu as well as Japanese culture with chinese. Has no plot and the tounament scenes have no actual fighting. This movie is a total hoax. Buy it if you want to feel pity for the makers. WARNING: There are no facts stated in this movie.. most of the the interview scenes were fake, you can tell from the contrasting video qualities and colors. If you can buy it for 3.00 or lower then buy it just to see how disgusting it is.
