One of the most comforting things about living in the UK is knowing what you can rely on: bank holidays will be rainy, beans will be on the breakfast menu and Britain's homegrown heavy metal heroes will continue rocking well into their twilight years. Motorhead do it, Ozzy Osbourne does it and, with Brave New World, Iron Maiden prove that they can do it, too. Featuring the return of vocalist Bruce Dickinson, after his self-imposed, six-year exile from the band, Brave New World is the sound of classic Iron Maiden at their finest. The guitars--augmented by the addition of a third guitarist, Adrian Smith--still scream along at top volume, with their signature blistering solos and frantic time changes. Songs like hit single "The Wicker Man", the anthemic "Blood Brothers" and "The Nomad" all bear the hallmarks of Maiden's best work--that is, they rock. Brave New World is the triumphant sound of one of Britain's heavy metal institutions returning to the top of the heap. --Robert Burrow
Chronique amazon.fr
Album Description
Brave New World's signature time changes, guitar harmonies, and urgent vocals render moot any question as to whether it will spawn Maiden classics to rival the likes of "Run to the Hills" and "Number of the Beast." Bruce is back, and all's right on this Brave New World. EMI. 2004.

AWESOME ALBUM!
I really recomend this album to any metal fan, the strongest songs here are "Thw wickerman" "Ghost of the navigator" "Blood brothers" Brave new world" "Out of the silent planet". also listen to the solo or "instrumental" in the middle of The nomad, it is AMAZING, this show that Iron maiden has many sides to its music, not just heavy, but also extremely melodic stuff.
other melodics from Iron maiden are Fear of the dark and Hallowed be thy name. Iron maiden always managed to get at least a few songs stuck in our heads (at least mine) from each album. overall this is metal at its best.
Greatest Album of all time.
Brave New World is not only the greatest metal or maiden album ever, it is the best album ever with noone even coming close. "The Wicker Man" and "The Mercenary" can change your mood in an instant. A definate Must Have.
Astonishing...
And I mean this in a good way. I've owned this album since it came out (4+ years ago) and I still have not grown tired of it. Brave New World is how heavy metal music sounds when composed AND executed properly. Every band member gives a first-rate performance; Bruce continues to amaze with air raid siren vocals aplenty, whilst Dave, Adrian, and Janick deliver some powerful riffage and soloing. Of course, one cannot forget about the thundering rhythm section, courtesy of Steve and Nicko, both of whom could give Geddy Lee and Neil Peart runs for their money. All the songs are top-notch, but "Ghost of the Navigator" and "Blood Brothers" would be the top candidates for best track.
Any fan of rock music should give this album a try.
