About the Author

John Curtin is a freelance writer, former deputy editor and property writer at Illustrated London News Group and a member of the Outdoor Writers Guild. His hiking articles regularly appear in the travel pages of the national press in the UK. He lives in Albury, Surrey overlooking the North Downs Way and his local knowledge of the route made him the ideal author for this new guide.
