About the Author

Barbara McQueen took more than 400  photographs of her late husband, actor Steve McQueen, from 1977 to 1980. These poignant photographs document their three-and-a-half year relationship and establishes that McQueen had finally achieved the peace that eluded him for so long. The former model is now remarried to David Brunsvold, her husband of 15 years.  The two enjoy a fun and adventurous lifestyle, traversing the country in their decked out bus and stopping whenever the mood strikes them.  They divide their time between their Montana ranch in the warm weather months and head to western Arizona in the winter.

Marshall Terrill is a veteran reporter for The Chandler (Ariz.) Connection and is the author of 10 books, including the best-selling Steve McQueen: Portrait of an American Rebel.  He recently co-authored Maravich, a biography on the life of basketball legend “Pistol” Pete Maravich with Wayne Federman in 2006.  His newest book, Elvis: Still Taking Care of Business, was written with Elvis Presley bodyguard Sonny West and was published in 2007. Terrill resides in Tempe, Arizona with wife, Zoe.
