From Booklist
Ages 3^-5. Mr. Rabbit begins to wonder how many bunnies he and Mrs. Rabbit have, and he sets out to count them as they play. He soon discovers that he can't tell which ones he's counted and which ones he hasn't. He gives each bunny he counts a carrot, but some bunnies finish their carrots before Mr. Rabbit gets done counting. After several other plans fail, Mr. Rabbit finally gets his chance when the bunnies fall asleep. But just when he thinks he's accomplished his task, Mrs. Rabbit shows him a whole room full of other bunnies that aren't sleeping. Williamson's bright watercolor and pen-and-ink illustrations provide some opportunities to practice counting, but the book is more successful as a lively lesson in problem-solving. Kids will enjoy coming up with their own clever plans for keeping the bunnies straight, too. For more bunny counting, see Cyndy Szekeres on p.891. Lauren Peterson

Review
Father Rabbit wants to count his very large family in this silly but appealing picture book. Unfortunately, every time he starts to count, they move, hop off, or start a game and he loses track. " 'One, two, three, four - oops! Oh, noggin-sploggin, boodle-doodle!' he grumbled." He waits until the bunnies are asleep to count them, and feels accomplished, but only until Mother Rabbit shows him the room where a lot of rambunctious little ones remain to be included. Delicately colored illustrations show all the frolicking rabbits, dressed in flowered and striped overalls and hats, climbing trees, dancing, playing hide-and-seek, and snoozing. Young children will enjoy the nonsense rhymes the father mutters every time he gets mixed up in this funny, soothing book. (Kirkus Reviews)

Hiliarously Funny Counting Book!5
I totally DISAGREE with the other reviewer! I bought this book for my nephew's 4th Birthday, and every time I read this book to him, he would crack up laughing! I think it was the "noggin-sploggin" part that did it to him. Haha! After reading the story to him only twice, he began to do the counting with me. Now, 6 years old, he recently told me that One Two Three Oops! is one of his all-time favorite stories! I've decided to buy it for another nephew for Christmas! Check it out ... you WON'T be disappointed!

We didn't enjoy it1
Another one of those books that you dread reading to your kids. Fortunately, my kids didn't enjoy it, so I only had to read it once. Illustrations are so-so.
