About the Author
Richard T. Claus has been an enthusiastic toy collector ever since receiving his first childhood train set. For the past 30 years his particular interest has revolved around toy boats and ships At one time collecting avidly: if the toy was nautical, he bought it! In an effort to develop some knowledge of the subject, Richard endlessly researched the minutiae of the toys and their manufacturers. He found that the more he learned, the more that remained a mystery.
