About the Author
Lucinda Ganderton is a graduate of Goldsmith College, London, where she studied Fine Art Textiles. She is the author of The Complete Guide to Needlecraft, Applique, and the bestselling Stitch Dictionary. For Ryland Peters & Small, Lucinda has written Window Treatments and Vintage Fabric Style, and has contributed to Home Furnishing with Fabric. She has written for a number of home magazines and also played a leading role in Change That, a BBC TV series on crafts and interiors.

Leslie Geddes-Brown, a former deputy editor of World of Interiors and Country Life, is one of Britain's leading writers on interiors and gardening. Her books include The Floral Home and Chelsea : the Greatest Flower Show on Earth; and she is author of Home Furnishing with Fabric and Waterside Living (both also published by Ryland Peters & Small), Leslie writes for the Daily Telegraph, the Sunday Times, You magazine, Town and Country, and Country Life.
