Editorial Reviews

From Booklist
Consider Arquette and Zocchi's book as an incredibly innovative and subtle way to promote the glories of exercise while sitting down. However, if you expect to learn the art of scrapbooking, step by personal step, fuhgeddaboutit. This is devoted to, first and foremost, sharing others' art pages about all things sporting; second, to quizzes and factoids ("from the color guy"); third--and last--a few how-to's in every chapter, such as making a decorative shell border. Each chapter pays tribute to wins and near misses of adults and kids in almost every sport, including America's favorite pastime, fishing victories, and cheerleading stunts. At the front are handy summaries of terms and supplies; at the end, answers to quizzes and trivia and a tongue-in-cheek promotion of "scraprobics." A true picture book of ideas. Barbara Jacobs
