Product Description

Robocop was one of the truly great bits of movie and pop culture magic from the 1980s, and Frank Miller wanted to deliver a masterpiece with his original movie script, but Hollywood massively edited his work. In full-on action, the Robocop story is told as Frank Miller always intended, composed straight from the master's original writings and scripts! The vast majority of Miller's insane ideas, vicious black humor and robotic mayhem never made it to the screen, but every last bit is finally unleashed in this series! With sequential adaptation from Steven Grant and art by superstar Juan Jose Ryp, this sci-fi epic is not to be missed!

Robocop5
Being a person who never liked the movie series I found it difficult to pick up the Comic, even more difficult was that Frank Miller had written the comic. It is not that I do not enjoy Frank's work but his always doing political polarizing satire's do get repetitive. However that being said I knew that if I deposited the correct currency I would be getting an action comic, the by-product of Miller's ingenious. I was not let down; the Robocop comic is one of the best comic book's I have ever read, I say that lightly as I have read much too many comic books anyways.
It is a visual treat that keeps up with a more than decent portion of "Peace Officer" butt kicking action. Oh of course Miller the sly fox he is includes the morality scene's where various characters attempt to fame or defame Robocop. Of course Robocop doesn't care about any of their choices of right and wrong he spends less time talking more time saving kids from pedophiles, old people from crazed OCP commando's and cleaning up the streets while preventing Delta City.

Its a good book, I would recommend it. Certainly it is not one of Frank's more known graphic novels but it is better than the movie by far.
