Product Description

The events of September 11 compelled the American public to look at air travel as much more than merely another way of getting from point A to point B. An industry that was previously viewed as a routine component of modern transport is now seen as both a vital national asset and vulnerable security risk. In this probing critique of aviation security since 9/11, Andrew Thomas, a globally recognised aviation security expert, examines the recent overhaul of the national aviation security system.

There's more to worry about than terrorists on your flight!1
.
This book tells of terrorism, and if that's what you want to read about, then it's a good book.

But...

I've worked in the airline industry for 19 years. For the past 15 years I've been a flight attendant for a major airline that has it's world headquarters in Minneapolis/St. Paul.

As an industry insider, I can tell you that there are worse things to worry about on your next flight than "terrorists".

There's something that's occuring with more frequency than ever before, and it's known as "PILOT AIR-RAGE". I myself am a victim of unprovoked physical assault by a deranged pilot. If a pilot would attack a flight attendant, what's to keep him from attacking a passenger? NOTHING! And now they're talking about giving these pilots guns in the cockpit. It's sheer insanity!

Pilots aren't qualified to have guns onboard airplanes. They're egocentrical over-rated bus drivers. The last thing they need is a gun. I would never get on an airplane with an armed pilot.

As a result of the physical assault and the following harassment that continued for a year afterward, I'm suffering from physical injuries and emotional distress which has been diagnosed as PTSD (post-traaumatic stress disorder). My airline has lied and covered-up for the pilot and allowed him to keep flying, although his violence is well documented. Would you want to be on one of his flights?

Airlines cover-up the violent and irrationional behavior of pilots in incidents like this on a regular basis. Believe me when I tell you that not all pilots are the type of people you want to be putting in control of your very life when you get on an airplane.

One of my airline's pilots was actually involved in terrorism, which was proven by an FBI investigation. Would you want to be on one of his flights? Think about it!

I'm currently writing a book about my experience in working for this airline, and I guarantee it will make you think twice about flying, especially on this particular airline!

Look for my book in the "northwest" corner of your local bookstore, or right here on Amazon early next year!

Wow! What a must read!!!5
I picked this book up on a whim and couldn't put it down. Simple and easy to understand, it answers every question I hear about in the news almost daily. This is the first book that I have read which really explains how 9/11 unfolded.

The first real 9-11 book.5
This is the first book I've read that really explains why 9-11 happened. Nowhere else have I found the FAA failings detailed. It is scary to think that our government enabled the hijackers to do what they did. Even more scary is the fact that it could happen again - after all the billions and hassle.
