Editorial Reviews
From Library Journal
Some young people go off on a road trip where everything seems to go awry and keeps them from reaching their destination--but then they happen to be at the wrong place at just the right time to save a boy from death. This is just one of the many stories found in Small Miracles II, the follow-up to the authors' prior compilation of true tales that hinge on remarkable coincidences, things that shouldn't happen or can't be foreseen, things that happen totally out of the blue but are so fitting, so right, that they seem to be by design. The works cover a wide range of subjects, and while not overtly religious, some have a Jewish angle to them, such as one dealing with a famous rabbi and another heartwarming story that takes place in Israel. These are touching, remarkable, and sometimes humorous, even though cynics might find the "coincidences" somewhat predictable. The tape suffers somewhat from the emoting of the authors, who put way too much inflection into the stories, but the tales will no doubt inspire and gladden most listeners. Recommended for all audio collections.
