Babylonian Talmud
The Babylonian Talmud is a compilation of rabbinical thought and discussion around religious practices set out in the Holy Scriptures. The content of these twenty-two volumes rest in the ridiculous and appear to afford the reader with little godly wisdom. For some, it may be a difficult read. However, such had become the teachings of and from the teachers of Judaism. Jesus Christ accused them of "straining at a gnat and swallowing a camel". The Babylonian Talmud does serve its purpose in that it does afford the reader with the mindset of the Jewish adhereers to their faith, i.e. in respect to the commandments of Hashem Elohim (the Sovereign Lord). How the reader wishes to utilize the content is within the intent and purposes of each reader. I give four stars for its English-only translation and presentation.
