Editorial Reviews
From AudioFile
Natalie Goldberg delivers the introduction to her latest book on writing with an unusual gravity; when she moves to the body of her work, however, her voice becomes more characteristically warm. Her narrative quickly comes alive with ideas and inspiration. She guides the listener through creative writing prompts to unlock memories deep within the mind. Her writing exercises are spontaneous and inviting. Providing pauses to think and meditate on her instructions and examples, she slows to a methodical cadence and guides the reflective process for beginning writers and writers needing a bit of inspiration. This is a solid course to follow if your dream is to write a memoir. D.L.M. © AudioFile 2003, Portland, Maine-- Copyright © AudioFile, Portland, Maine
