Editorial Reviews

From Library Journal
Through line drawings and text, Thallon (Graphic Guide to Frame Construction, Taunton, 1991) explains the installation of interior materials to the structural shell of a building. Each chapter describes the various materials that can be used and the application method for walls, ceilings, floors, cabinets, countertops, trim, and stairways. This book is particularly useful for its intended audience of interior designers, students, and building owners who need an introductory text on building interiors. For those seeking technical and how-to information, a list of professional associations and a bibliography are included.

This is the essential resource for designers, builders and others who select and install panelling, flooring, cabinetry, stairways and trim. Just as Thallon's Graphic Guide to Frame Construction is the standard for residential frame construction details, this carefully researched volume is the authoritative guide to interior construction details.
