About the Author
Nicholas Olsberg was director of the Canadian Centre for Architecture from July 2001 to May 2004. He holds an honours degree in Modern History from Oxford University and a doctorate in American History from the University of South Carolina. He lives in Arizona.

Ricardo L. Castro is a professor of architecture at McGill University. He has contributed articles to many local and international magazines and is the coauthor of various books. He lives in Montreal, Quebec.
