|
Product Description
Engine Houses and Turntables on Canadian Railways was written for the information of the Historic Sites & Monuments Board of Canada, as a guide in determining the historic significance of these rapidly disappearing structures, with the demise of the steam locomotive. once a common, if little regarded, feature of railway yards across Canada, the railway roundhouse has merited attention from historical associations and municipalities as a relic of an age that has gone.
