From the Author
Our first love among tropical flowers, the plumeria is one of the easiest plants to grow and flower. Although Hawaii and many areas of the Caribbean have plumerias on practically every street, gardeners throughout the United States find them just as easy to grow and flower in containers. The fragrance of plumeria is legendary and a perfume made from its flowers was the favorite of Catharine de Medici. We have yet to find a plant lover who has visited Hawaii or other tropical countries who has not fallen in love with the fragrance and beauty of plumeria flowers.
