Product Description
It is always intriguing to see ourselves as others might see us. This witty and lively sequel to Ms Berck's first book, Yonder the Bridge, accompanies her to a small Western Pennsylvania town during the mid twentieth century. There she deftly assesses her dual role of bewildered newcomer and evolving citizen, wife, and mother. She soon senses that her new community's charm and benevolence oddly run counter to some of her ingrained customs, behavior, etiquette, and social codes.

From the Author
A stroll through mid-century Small Town America. Any resemblence to persons, living or dead, is not a bit accidental. The names have been changed to protect the author.
About the Author
