Editorial Reviews
Larry M. Hubble, Ph.D., Psychologist
Delightful and practical! You don't have to be a psychologist to read this book to a child. Better still, have a child read it to you.
Sue Clarke, Coordinator of gifted Programs
Dr. Moser clearly defines the complicated emotion of anger and offers workable suggestions to help youngsters better control their anger.
From the Author
Dear Friend: When I was a boy, I often got very angry. Some people told me to "let all my anger out." So I didn't hesitate to yell and scream, shake my fists, and stomp my feet! I let my anger out all right. But that kind of behavior got me into a lot of fights and arguments. It also got me into trouble at school and home. Now that I am an adult, I still get angry. But I don't get as angry as often as I used to, and I don't stay angry as long. I have learned how to control my behavior when I'm angry. I no longer get into fights, and I don't get into as many arguments. I get along much better with other people, and I stay out of trouble. That makes me a much happier person. It is important that you understand your own anger and learn how to deal wit it in positive ways. So I wrote this book just for you. Your Friend, Adolph Moser

Customer Reviews
My daughter loves this book!
This is the first book that my 7 y/o daughter can relate to about her extreme feelings of anger and frustration. The illustrations are colorful and keep my daughter very interested. She has requested us to read this to her over and over again. Recently her step-father and I got married and she was in the wedding party. Before the wedding she wanted to ensure she wouldn't have any anger outbursts on our special day so she requested this book to be read again. She was so concerned that she'd get angry but I'm proud to say that she was a very well behaved and happy child that day. I can thank this book for helping us with that.
Don't Rant and Rave
I'm a therapist in private practice. I send this book home with elementary school age children and they love it so much that they don't want to bring it back! They are relieved to know that they are not the only ones who get angry. The book gives them great tips on how to calm down. Moser knows children and has a sense of humor. Enjoyable pictures.
Good One...
I'm a school counselor and use this one with my middle elementary aged kids (3-4 grade). They enjoy it and it's easier for them to understand. I really recommend this one.
