About the Author
Yannick Chastang is the conservator in the Wallace Collection, with particular responsibilities for furniture conservation. Trained at the Ecole Boulle and at the Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, he has worked on the conservation of a number of masterpieces of eighteenth century French furniture.
