Editorial Reviews
From Booklist
There is no question that McGraw knows her stuff, especially since she has stamped her imprint on one how-to book already, Making Greeting Cards with Rubber Stamps (1997). And there is no doubt that her latest techniques, from embossing powders to wax seals, elevate the craft from a kids' hobby to more of a decorative art. In this sequel, she has identified eight techniques that will further distinguish stamping creations, each with at least two step-by-step programs and three or so pages of ideas with lengthy descriptions. Clear vellum papers and ordinary household bleach are among the other materials that lend different looks and finishes; recipes are also included whenever needed. Yet one question still lingers. How many handmade cards can one person actually use? Barbara Jacobs
