Product Description

Mikey Mite brings the house down when he plays the part of the jester in the school play. Everyone is the gym laughs and laughs--everyone, that is, except Mikey's dad, who doesn't even show up.

Mikey's dad has a serious problem, and his whole family suffers because of it. When he gets into a car accident, Mikey comes out of it with a broken arm--and his dad realizes he'll have to change, for the good of everyone. Finally things at Mikey's house start to seem more like normal.

Mikey Mite's Big Problem is a story about a boy growing up in a troubled family, and how crisis forces them to change.

Editorial Reviews

Review
"It is rare that one deals this directly, in children's novels, with a problem that, nevertheless, is the lot of many children. Gilles Gauthier does it with sincerity, a delicate touch and emotion that will instantly tug at your heart. Absolutely a must read!" (Journal de Montreal )
