Customer Reviews

An engineer's review5
The book was very useful. The only drawback was the "Hydronics Design Kit" was not included. This costs an additional $76 from Oikos.com and is referred to many times in the book. Therefore, it is almost a requirement during use of the book.

An absoluteley excellent book5
Just pick up the book, read any chapter, and it becomes clearly evident the author has been there, done that. The book is very clearly written, well organized, and very useful. Covers most subjects in sufficient detail as to not require much in the way of other references. My only criticism is that I would have liked a little more detail in the PID control section - but one could supplant that info with other references.

good stuff5
this is an excellent book. i have an engineering background, and this book has the level of detail and scientific rigor i find useful. i am using it to design my own system.
