From School Library Journal
PreSchool-K?This charming, cheerful translation of Demain c'est Noel (Pastel, 1994) features young Juliette and her entourage of stuffed-animal friends. The simple plot takes readers through the day before Christmas (buying and decorating a tree, making cookies); Christmas Eve (hanging the stocking, bedtime story, the toys witness Santa's visit); and Christmas Day (present opening and sharing). One or two sentences grace each page, enhancing soft watercolor illustrations with festive gold-foil highlights. A wonderful bedtime story that's equally well suited to group sharing.?LF

From Booklist
Ages 2^-7. Originally published in French, this cheerful greeting card to the season opens with red endpapers covered in gold stars. Within, we meet Juliette, who with the repetition of "Tomorrow is Christmas!" chooses a tree with her mom and dad, decorates it, bakes cookies, and hangs her stocking, all with an audience of her stuffed animals and dolls. When she at last goes to bed, the toys creep downstairs to catch a glimpse of Santa coming down the chimney. On Christmas morning, the rapt audience of doll and dinosaur, duckie and harlequin, bear and bunny watch Juliette open all of her presents, until they get to a big wooden wagon "for all of us to share." Juliette's cozy home sits in a dreamy, snow-covered landscape, and its scrubbed-wood interior is full of books, candles, and handsome household objects. The book is sure to find its way into many stockings and story times. GraceAnne A. DeCandido
