About the Author
James Herriot started work as a vet in the Yorkshire Dales in 1940, and retired only shortly before he died, in 1995. His internationally bestselling books were made both into films and the incredibly successful television series All Creatures Great and Small.

Derry Brabbs is an acclaimed photographer who has written and illustrated several books on the British countryside.

Very fun stories about a country vet in England. Warm and wonderful memoirs of his life as a country vet. A must read book.
