About the Author
The late Woody Woodruff was a dutch oven designer, a scout master, and an avid camper, hiker, and outdoor cook. William "Doc" Forgey, M.D., is an avid outdoorsman and president of the Wilderness Medical Society as well as author of several Globe Pequot books. He camped and cooked with Woody for nearly forty years and has packed and used Woody's dutch oven on many backpacking expeditions.
