"In Bed with Someone" by Rosemary Laurey - Rod Carter was supposed to end up running the Ragged Rooster. Instead, Old Man Maddox gave the bar to his granddaughter, some prissy Brit art gallery owner right off the boat from London. Miss Juliet Ffrench - yeah, two "f's" - knows jack-all about beer, winning friends, and running tabs, but she's got a killer smile. All the lady needs is someone to give her an education in Texas hospitality, up close and personal..."Run of Bad Luck" by Karen Kelley - Nina Harris loves photographing naked, sexy men. But, when she inherits her grandfather's ranch in Texas, and meets foreman Lance Colby, she thinks she may have met her match. Lance is pretty sure real cowboys don't drop trou for national magazines. Still, as a Texas gentleman, he'd be more than happy to give Nina a private showing..."Come to a Bad End" by Dianne Castell - Silver Gulch Sheriff John Snow thinks women have their place - in his kitchen or his bed. He would certainly never go for some women's libber businesswoman like Lillie June. The men in town want him to close down her fancy new spa, and he's happy to oblige. But once he meets Lillie, soothing massages, personal pampering, and one-on-one body wraps don't seem like such a bad thing at all...

Sizzling Suspense Romance
What a great anthology written by Rosemary Laurey, Karen Kelley and Dianne Castell. These are three intertwining stories set in the little town of Silver Gulch, Texas. On the death of their Grandfather, three sisters, who did not know anything about the other, inherit from his Estate. Apparently his son, Drew, had three daughters from three different women but never supported any of them. With that note the fun is about to begin.
IN BAD WITH SOMEONE by Rosemary Laurey brings us Juliet ffrench who was a manager of an Art Gallery in London before coming to Texas to claim her inheritance from a grandfather who she only met once. She is to inherit a building including the Ragged Rooster Bar, four apartments and a sizeable chunk of money. Therein lies the problem, because unbeknown to her, her grandfather had made an agreement with Rod Carter, the manager of the Red Rooster, that when he passed on he would inherit it. Rod and Juliet, from the moment they set eyes on each other, have a sensational chemistry going that is undeniable hot. But Rod is really getting a raw deal and a compromise is made, but there are strange occurrences going on that neither Juliet or Rod can account for.........throwing suspicion on each other.......can it be sorted out?
RUN OF BAD LUCK by Karen Kelley brings us Nina Harris a free lance photographer who has inherited the ranch, Maddock's Dream, from a grandfather she has never met. Lance Colby is the foreman of the ranch, who since the grandfather had no next of kin stood to inherit, but this has now been turned upside down. When Nina first sets eyes on Lance he is breaking a wild horse, and she decides that she is going to have him as centrefold for a magazine that she free lances for. Lance is having no part of the deal. Whenever she is around Lance he puts fire in her blood and the sparks from the two of them is enough to burn down all the buildings and them in the process..........but can their differences be settled? And why was she picked to inherit at all from a perfect stranger?
COME TO A BAD END by Dianne Castell brings us Lillie June a former graphic designer who is tired of the business rat race and since she has inherited the hotel, turned it into a The Silver Springs Spa. This has stirred up the men folk of the town, since they do not want their women associating with such a place and getting all fancy ideas. They demand that Sheriff John Snow do something to get rid of the Spa. But John is reluctant because he would rather stay away from someone who he considers to be temptation and dynamite all in one package. The sizzle and sparks between them is enough to set off a Roman candle, talk about lust at first sight. But wait there are more strange goings on, and come to think of it there was never a body found to substantiate the death. This leads John to think that possibly the granddaughters had something to do with the demise of the grandfather, I mean who stood to be bigger gainers. But Lillie points out that Lance and Rod have just as much to gain with his death.
Between the pages of this book the three authors have penned a sizzling romance, with mystery, suspense and a ending that makes you sigh. I would highly recommend this anthology and feel that it will not disappoint.
A great read!!!
If you are looking for a good romance to read, this is perfect for you. When Pete Maddox dies myseriously, his three estranged granddaughts inherit a piece of his estate. Three authors bring these women together in a book that is at times sexy, funny and sweet.
In Rosemary Laurey's "In Bad with Someone," Juliet ffrench has come to town to take control of The Ragged Rooster, the local bar...although Rod Carter has something to say about that. He was promised the bar by Pete. Romance ensues as Rod and Juliet try to figure out how to work together as myserious occurences begin.
The second granddaughter arrives in KAren Kelley's "Run of Bad Luck." Nina Harris is used to photographing sexy man but nothing prepares her for Lance Colby, head cowboy on the ranch that has just come into Nina's possession (and was promised to Lance). Their attraction to each other sizzles and intensifies, as they try to figure out who is behind some of the strange stuff happening at the ranch house.
The final granddaughter is brought to us by Dianne Castell. In "Come to a Bad End", Lille June is trying to bring some relaxation and pampering to the women in Silver Gulch. However, the men in town are not pleased with her changes, to the women and to the hotel. Sherriff John Snow, an outsider in some ways himself, is commissioned to fix the problem. John has other problems, though, including his attraction to Lillie and a sneaking suspicion that there is more to Pete Maddox's death than meets the eye. As John tries to solve the mystery, Lillie and John's relationship intensifies.
This is a great collection of stories; the evolution of the relationships (between the couples and the sisters) and the way in which the women realize that their grandfather did indeed love them is carried throughout the three stories. Pick this up and you won't be disappointed!!!
