About the Author
Simon Calder is one of Britain's best-known and most well-liked travel experts. He has been travel editor of the Independent since 1994 and, since 1996, a presenter for BBC1's Travel Show. Mick Webb is a Chief Producer in the BBC's Factual and Learning Division. Over the years, he has made many feature programmes for Radio 4, including three series with Simon Calder.
