About the Author
A linguistic prodigy, Douglas Boyd spent his early years in the exciting world of East European espionage. Traded back to the West, through the Red Cross, when he was still a young man in his twenties, Boyd managed to avoid court martial and imprisonment, and entered a new career in the film business. He worked for the BBC for many years and is now a full time writer.
