About the Author
Lisa Wheeler was inspired to write this book after falling in love with the wonderful cats Ponder Goembel portrayed in Sailor Moo: Cow at Sea, their first collaboration. The ocean is the setting for many of Lisa's books, including the acclaimed Seadogs: An Epic Ocean Operetta, illustrated by Mark Siegel. An excellent Ready-To-Read book!!
I just love the Fitch & Chip 'Ready-to-Read' series. The characters are likeable and funny, and the story plots are always interesting and entertaining. In WHEN PIGS FLY, Fitch and Chip prepare for Hero Day at school. Kids will enjoy the adventure of Hyper Hog and Timberwolf.

I would highly recommend this series for your young readers at home, or for your classroom library.
