Customer Reviews

Louisa Harding redeems herself - I take back my original review5
I just posted a negative review of this knitting book here on Amazon and now eat my words. I e-mailed Louisa Harding (thank goodness for the internet), to make known my concerns that her patterns contained mistakes. She e-mailed me the next day (!) with an errata sheet for the glove pattern Classic Elegance.

As for my complaint that the hat pattern called Brimming With Style is wrong, well, I was wrong. I mistakenly assumed from looking at the picture that the hat has a brim that folds up! No wonder I thought there was something missing ~ there isn't.

Not only are her patterns classy, so is Louisa Harding.

As for the errata for the pattern, here you are:

Classic Elegance (page 100) This one has incorrect brackets in the book.

Lace-Edged Glove Right Hand

Row 7 (inc): K1,(K2tog tbl, [yo,K1]5 times, yo, K2tog) 5 times, K1. (67 sts)

Happy knitting!
