This is a book that should be used to teach about Electricity in Schools...5
When I was 10 years old, I discovered this book in my schools library. Kids had been using it for years to create award winning science fair projects, and once I read it myself, I understood why..

This book is for those who want to understand how Electricity works, on a shoestring Budget. Using common ( and inexpensive) materials, one can learn about all aspects of electromagnetism. This book is geared for kids, BUT adults can learn alot from it as well...

Yes, some of the projects in the book seem a bit outdated for the 21st century,(the book was written in 1973) but anyone can use these projects to create a modern version, even using the same, simple, inexpensive items such as paperclips, thumbtacks, pencils, Ect...

These projects show the basic foundation of all of today's technology, but on a larger scale than what is used today.

As a suggestion, I strongly recommend buying along with this book,
THE THOMAS EDISON BOOK OF EASY AND INCREDIBLE EXPERIMENTS. Both books compliment each other very well, have similar writing styles and experiments, and one can find alot of common ground when creating your own projects..

Get Your Kids Interested In Science!5
This book contains 101 electrical and magnetic experiments and projects. The materials used can be found around the house or easily purchased at a local store. These experiments teach many of the basics of electricity and magnetics and can be very informative for kids, and even adults, and the illustrations and text explaining the science behind the experiments are well done. I think science is fascinating, and this book can help you spread the 'magic' of science to others.

Great simple projects to show kids the basics of E and M.5
With paper clips, magnets, and assorted junk from around the house, you can demonstrate the basics of static electricity and magnetism for your kids (and your own) enlightenment. Well thought out, and peppered with historical notes, this book belongs in every household with children, and at least one older kid (e.g. parent) who likes to play with science. Thanks Mr. Graf.
