Beautiful and haunting
Elizabeth Cleaver is one of the great names in children's literature, and "The Loon's Necklace" is just one example of her exquisite work. This retelling of an ancient American Indian myth is appropriate for children of all ages, and should be on every parent's "to give for Christmas" list.
