Mario Vargas Llosa, uno de los mÁs destacados novelistas contemporÁneos latinoamericanos, se lanzÓ a la fama con su novela La ciudad y los perros que obtuvo el Premio Biblioteca Breve y el Premio de la CrÍtica.
