I have dreamt for a substantial part of my life about being the owner of a bookstore. I have done the very best next best thing and I am a Librarian by day. The selection of books on this site are the ones that I think are the best of their of genre, interesting and worth having in your own library. Use this store as a guide, a reference. What is displayed here has nothing to do with what is popular or simply that it is new. If you find it here it is because I think it is worth reading and owning. I love books of all kinds. I have a special place on my reading shelf for Children's Literature. My life list of picture books, story books and junior novels is a long one. In the years that my children and I visited libraries and book stores we have borrowed (mostly) and purchased and read aloud about 30,000 works of Children's Literature. We all continue to read books, for school, work, information and the pure pleasure of it. Books are magic, the most economical,wondrous and entertaining magic ever. This store is represents the best of what I have read over the years and have grown to love and value. I am always looking for new books, new ideas, new genres and as it happens new media. The biggest boon to the busy person has to be the audiobook. I am a huge fan of these books, read to me by some fantastic readers. The come on cd's, mp3 disks and as digital files.
