Great price. Over packaged.
The fact that Microsoft charges for this seems like a money grab (whereas Sony with Playstation does not charge at all) but it is what it is.

The previous reviewer was right. It was waaay over packaged. I have since recycled & reused the packaging so I didn't mind too much.

The price on here was cheaper than anywhere else. 2 day shipping turned into 6 day shipping (with a weekend) but well worth the wait. I use it daily and will probably renew when it is time.

XBox Live - item good, packaging not so good
It was disturbing and funny at the same time to receive the package for the card. While i understand, really i do, the need to secure this item from theft. I am astounded by the over abundance of packaging materials used for a small strip of numbers. The Microsoft packaging is way overboard, Amazon's addition to that is a little worse.

i made the choice to order this particular item from Amazon, i will never do so again. i felt like the money i saved was not enough to cover the guilt of the excess.

i am not complaining about Amazon in general. Just in this case, and this is also shared with Microsoft and their effort. Generally Amazon is responsible with packaging materials used to protect the items I have ordered. It was only this one particular case that left me void of the excitement to receive a package. This was a few weeks ago. i am still feeling guilty for the waste.

Don't order this item from Amazon, get it from a store to avoid the massive foot print that is left by the packaging. There must be a better way.
